Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, Business or Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the logistics industry.
• Minimum 1 year of project management or project coordination experience.
• Logistics solution design and use of logistics IT tools such as WMS and layout or drafting software (AutoCAD, Visio or similar).
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare logistics network layouts, route plans, warehouse layouts, in-plant logistics organisation, equipment allocation, operating processes and process-control solutions using professional software and drafting tools.
• Collect data needed for each customer requirement, analyse it, and build logistics cost models using cost-analysis and data-modelling tools.
• Investigate customer complaints and operational issues, identify process defects and design optimisation solutions.
• Organise on-site implementation according to the Project Manager's plan and the solution submitted to the client; propose additional resource needs, help set up the project staffing structure and train new project staff.
• Revise Standard Operating Procedures to match actual operating conditions and draft work instructions for each position.
• Translate client requirements into system development needs, give feedback to the IT team, and assist with system testing and optimisation.
• Help the sales team prepare promotional material, solution proposals and case studies and present them to clients; help build the implementation documentation framework, archive and quality-check implementation documents, and help monitor project operating costs.
• Perform other duties as reasonably assigned by management and consistent with the role

Logistic Engineer
URGENT HIRING – IMMEDIATE JOINERS WELCOME
Location: Tanjung Malim, Perak
Salary: RM4,000 – RM6,000 per month (depending on experience, qualifications and value added)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Days: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Saturday when required, based on production needs.
About the role

To design, cost and improve logistics solutions for customers, covering network, warehouse layout, in-plant logistics, processes and system requirements, and to support the project team during on-site implementation, so that solutions are delivered on time, within cost and to documented standards.

Key responsibilities

About you

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, Business or Operations Management, or a related field

Minimum 2 years' experience in the logistics industry

Minimum 1 year of project management or project coordination experience

Logistics solution design and use of logistics IT tools such as WMS and layout or drafting software (AutoCAD, Visio or similar)

Strong Excel and data analysis skills

Good at identifying and solving problems

Strong communication and coordination skills across operations, IT and clients

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken

Able to work under pressure and work well in a team

Willing to travel for business and work on-site during project implementation
