We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to manage the end-to-end coordination of daily shipments between China and Malaysia. This role works closely with suppliers, forwarders, warehouse teams, customers, the sales team, finance, and receivers to ensure timely, accurate, and smooth delivery of goods, while providing occasional support to warehouse and local delivery operations as needed.
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to manage the end-to-end coordination of daily shipments between China and Malaysia. This role works closely with suppliers, forwarders, warehouse teams, customers, the sales team, finance, and receivers to ensure timely, accurate, and smooth delivery of goods, while providing occasional support to warehouse and local delivery operations as needed.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and coordinate daily inbound shipments from China to Malaysia, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Liaise with the Sales team to confirm delivery details, prepare and issue Delivery Orders (DO), and coordinate delivery arrangements with appointed forwarders.
- Monitor shipment status and movement to ensure all deliveries meet customers' expected timelines.
- Liaise with suppliers, forwarders, warehouse teams, customers, and receivers on shipment updates, delivery arrangements, and related issues.
- Coordinate with appointed forwarders on customs clearance, including checking and verifying K1 forms and duty & tax calculations.
- Resolve shipment and delivery issues promptly to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Ensure signed DOs and relevant shipping documents are properly collected, uploaded, and submitted to Finance for processing.
- Prepare and maintain accurate logistics reports, including monthly DO and shipment status reports.
- Provide support for warehouse operations, sample deliveries, and local delivery coordination on an as-needed basis.
- Perform other operational and ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, or supply chain.
- Able to read and write Mandarin to liaise with China-based suppliers, forwarders, and relevant parties.
- Familiar with shipment coordination, delivery arrangements, and logistics documentation.
- Knowledge of customs clearance and K1 documentation is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Good team player with a hands-on and proactive approach.
