Job summary

Asia Shipping & Forwarding (Sabah) Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Customer Service Assistant to support daily emails, handle inquiries, and organize shipping files. You will coordinate with customers, agents, drivers, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate documentation and timely updates.

Fresh graduates are welcome; prior shipping or logistics experience is a plus. Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently and handle multiple

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, or customer service is advantageous.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages are an added advantage.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and WhatsApp.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Responsible, organised, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily emails and customer enquiries.
• Open and manage job files and documentation.
• Monitor vessel ETA and shipment status.
• Arrange DO collection and container delivery.
• Coordinate with customers, agents, drivers, and warehouse.
• Update customers and agents via email and WhatsApp.
• Check and complete shipping documents and clearances.
• Scan, upload, and maintain documents in Google Drive.
• Ensure all jobs and documents are properly completed and filed.
• Follow up on shipment progress and ensure timely updates are provided to relevant parties.
• Assist with daily FCL operations and other administrative tasks as assigned.
• Maintain good communication and coordination with internal and external parties.
