Job summary

Ion Global Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a logistics coordinator to support daily operations and customer service coordination. You will bridge customers, internal operations, and delivery partners to ensure shipments move smoothly and customers are informed.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries via phone, email, and chat; providing service information, booking and tracking shipments, and coordinating container haulage for imports and exports.

• Arrange and coordinate container haulage / trucking for import and export shipments.
• Coordinate container pickup and delivery from/to ports, warehouses and customers.
• Manage customer shipments end-to-end, including booking, tracking, documentation, and delivery coordination
• Liaise with internal teams and external parties to ensure smooth execution
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively update customers on status, issues, and resolutions
• Monitor container movement and ensure timely pickup, delivery and return of empty containers.
