Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned operations leader to manage and oversee warehouse and freight forwarding activities, including export/import and customs clearance. The role focuses on driving efficiency, customer satisfaction, and strategic growth within a busy logistics environment.

You will lead daily warehouse operations, optimize inventory and space, and coordinate international shipments while ensuring compliance with safety and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, and delivery.
• Manage inventory, warehouse space utilization, stock accuracy, and operational productivity.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments by air, sea, and land, including export/import and customs clearance procedures.
• Liaise with customs brokers, carriers, shipping lines, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
• Lead and monitor operational KPIs, resolve operational issues and customer complaints, and maintain high service standards.
• Review and improve SOPs and implement lean practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Manage departmental budgets, expenses, sales forecasts, and performance against targets while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead and develop the operations team while supporting business development and ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and ISO requirements.
