LSM Metal Ace Sdn. Bhd. in Senai, Johor, is seeking a Logistics Cum Admin Assistant to manage weighbridge data and coordinate fleets, ensuring accurate weight records and timely deliveries.

The role requires meticulous numbers handling, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to communicate clearly with drivers and customers in a fast-paced industrial setting.

You will join a hands-on logistics team and support daily operations, documentation, and cost-control initiatives with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate weighbridge to record gross, tare, and net weights for trucks.
• Prepare and verify DOs, weight tickets, and packing lists.
• Plan daily trips for RORO and trailer drivers.
• Update orders and monitor stock levels in the system.
• Record diesel usage and monitor toll costs.
• Compile monthly fleet maintenance reports for management.
• Support logistics team with ad-hoc duties.

Job description

We’re looking for a Logistics Cum Admin Assistant (Weighbridge & Fleet Coordination) to join our team!

Key responsibilities :

Operate the site weighbridge system to record exact gross, tare, and net weights of incoming and outgoing scrap trucks.

Standby, prepare, and verify critical outbound paperwork, including Delivery Orders (DO), weight tickets, and packing lists.

Plan and arrange daily trips for RORO and trailer drivers.

Update daily customer orders and monitor physical in-out stock levels within the system

Record diesel fuel consumption and monitor toll fee usage against truck logbooks to control operational costs

Compile operational and vehicle service records to submit a monthly fleet maintenance report to management

Supporting the broader logistics team with ad-hoc duties as required

Requirement :

Minimum SPM or Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain / Business Administration or equivalent.

Highly particular with the detailing of numbers, essential for verifying truck weights, auditing diesel usage, and managing inventory accurately.

Proficient in basic arithmetic and Microsoft Excel.

Experience working in a scrap metal recycling yard and transport company is highly preferred.

Experience with weighbridge software is a strong advantage.

High integrity, sharp attention to detail, and a confident personality when communicating instructions to heavy vehicle drivers and customers.

Ability to speak Mandarin is a strong advantage.

Able to work independently, fast learner and able to adapt quickly to a fast-paced industrial working environment.

Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work overtime (OT).

Willing to work in Senai, Johor.
