Lien Huat Group is seeking a proactive logistics professional to manage export operations and ensure smooth movement of products from factory to customers worldwide.
You will work with freight forwarders, agents, government agencies, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues and keep import/export running efficiently.
Fresh graduates are welcome; prior logistics experience is an advantage but not required; strong English and Bahasa Malaysia are preferred.
At Lien Huat Group, logistics is much more than arranging shipments. This role is at the heart of our operations, ensuring products move efficiently from our factory to customers around the world.
You’ll work closely with freight forwarders, shipping agents, government agencies, suppliers, customers, and our internal production and sales teams. No two days are the same—you’ll solve problems, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and help keep our import and export operations running smoothly.
As our company continues to grow, this role will evolve with new responsibilities and opportunities for career development.
Prepare and verify export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, certificates, MITI permits (K2), and other shipping documents.
Coordinate shipment bookings with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and courier service providers.
Track shipments and ensure timely delivery while resolving logistics issues proactively.
Liaise with insurance providers and appointed shipping agents when required.
Ensure shipping documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
Coordinate with government agencies such as MITI, MATRADE, Customs, and other regulatory authorities.
Maintain organized records of shipping and export documentation.
Prepare, inspect, and coordinate delivery of product samples to local and international customers.
Arrange courier collections and deliveries for documents, samples, and customer requests.
Support the sales team by coordinating shipment schedules, stock availability, and customer requirements.
Work closely with production, warehouse, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Assist with administrative and operational projects as assigned.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer service.
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, communicating with people, and keeping things organized.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
Take ownership and follow through on your responsibilities.
Are detail-oriented and enjoy ensuring everything is accurate.
Communicate confidently with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Are proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
Enjoy improving processes rather than simply following them.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Prior experience in logistics, shipping, export documentation, customer service, or administration is an advantage but not essential.
Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail.
Able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
Gain hands-on experience in international trade and export logistics.
Learn how products are shipped to customers across multiple countries.
Exposure to manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and international business.
