Job summary

SK Nexilis Malaysia is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support day-to-day shipping and logistics operations in Sabah. You will prepare, pack, label, and dispatch orders, verify details, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time shipments.

You will handle shipping documents, maintain records, and liaise with couriers while complying with safety and company procedures. Fresh graduates are welcome for this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in shipping, warehouse, logistics, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of shipping procedures.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation and inventory records.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office or relevant warehouse/shipping systems.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to handle packages or materials as required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet shipping deadlines.
• Forklift license/certification would be an advantage.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or shifts when required.

Responsible for supporting the day-to-day shipping and logistics operations, ensuring that products, materials, and shipments are accurately prepared, processed, packed, and dispatched on time. The role requires careful attention to detail, proper handling of goods, accurate documentation, and compliance with company procedures and safety requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities

Prepare, pack, label, and arrange products or materials for shipment.

Verify quantities, product specifications, shipping addresses, and order details before dispatch.

Operate shipping equipment, weighing scales, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other relevant equipment as authorized.

Prepare shipping documents, delivery orders, packing lists, invoices, and other required documentation.

Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely shipment.

Liaise with courier companies, freight forwarders, transporters, and other logistics service providers.

Track shipments and follow up on delays, discrepancies, damaged goods, or delivery issues.

Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.

Ensure the shipping area is clean, organized, and safe.

Follow company policies, standard operating procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements.

Assist with stock counts and inventory reconciliation when required.

Report shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, equipment issues, or other operational concerns to the supervisor.

Perform other shipping, warehouse, or logistics-related duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications

Minimum [1–2] years of experience in shipping, warehouse, logistics, or a related field.

Fresh graduates are also welcome.

Basic knowledge of shipping, warehouse, and logistics procedures.

Familiarity with shipping documentation and inventory records.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or relevant warehouse/shipping systems.

Good communication and organizational skills.
