Job summary

Private Advertiser in Sabah is seeking a diligent Logistic Support to join our transport team. This full-time role provides administrative and operational support to ensure smooth daily operations.

You will coordinate daily transport, monitor driver schedules, attendance and safety, manage documentation, fuel usage, and liaise with workshops for truck servicing. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Logistics or related field and good Excel skills.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma in Logistics, Transport, or related field.
• Experience in transport/logistics is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport operations, vehicle movement, timely delivery/collection, and documentation control.
• Ensure driver schedules are followed and delays reported promptly.
• Monitor driver attendance, punctuality, and discipline.
• Ensure drivers follow SOP and safety requirements.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.
• Monitor monthly fuel usage.
• Coordinate with workshop/mechanics for trucks repair and servicing.
• Monitor trucks repair progress and ensure timely completion.

About the role

We are seeking a diligent and organized Logistic Support to join our transport team in Sabah. This full-time position is an integral part of our operations, providing administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the business.

What you'll be doing

• To assist in coordinating daily transport operations, ensuring smooth vehicle movement, timely delivery/collection, and proper documentation control
• Ensure driver schedule is followed and delays are reported promptly
• Monitor driver attendance, punctuality, and discipline
• Ensure drivers follow company SOP and safety requirements
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take on additional tasks as needed
• Monitor monthly fuel usage
• Coordinate with workshop/mechanics for trucks repair and servicing
• Monitor trucks repair progress and ensure timely completion

What we're looking for

• Minimum SPM / Diploma in Logistics, Transport, or related field
• Experience in transport/logistics (especially plantation / oil palm industry) is an advantage
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, system entry)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work independently and handle urgent situations
• Willing to outstation travelling whenever needed.

Added Advantage

• Experience in transport/logistics is an advantage
• Familiar with fleet management or GPS tracking systems
• Ability to speak and understand Mandarin is an added advantage
