Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Coordinator based in Ipoh, Perak, to assist in daily planning and coordination of deliveries and transportation arrangements. You will coordinate schedules with drivers, transporters, suppliers and forwarders to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires a Diploma in Logistics or related field, 1–2 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, planning or warehouse operations.
• Good coordination, communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily planning and coordination of deliveries and transportation arrangements.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with drivers, transporters, forwarding agents and suppliers.
• Prepare and maintain delivery orders, shipping documents and other logistics-related documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate updating of logistics and delivery records.
• Assist in planning vehicle and transportation requirements based on delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory movement and assist in maintaining accurate stock and logistics records.
• Follow up on delivery issues, delays, shortages or discrepancies and escalate them to relevant parties.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with company procedures and safety requirements.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Responsibilities(included but not limited to):

To assist in the daily planning and coordination of deliveries and transportation arrangements.

To coordinate delivery schedules with drivers, transporters, forwarding agents and suppliers.

To prepare and maintain delivery orders, shipping documents and other logistics-related documentation.

To ensure timely and accurate updating of logistics and delivery records.

To assist in planning vehicle and transportation requirements based on delivery schedules.

To follow up on delivery issues, delays, shortages or discrepancies and escalatem them to the relevant parties.

To ensure logistics activities comply with Company procedures and relevant safety requirements.

To undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.

Preferably 1-2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, planning or warehouse operations.

Good coordination, communication and organisational skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Good problem-solving and follow-up skills.

Position to be based in Ipoh, Perak.
