Job summary

Hirehub Group in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, is seeking a leader to guide a team of logistics coordinators and associates. You will supervise operations support, handle order processing, and maintain reports, plans, and expenses for the logistics function.

The role partners with the Operations Supervisor and interfaces with customers to resolve inquiries, coordinate shipments, and ensure compliance and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years warehousing/logistics experience, with at least 3 years in shipping/compliance.
• Diploma or above in Logistics Management or equivalent.
• Experience with customs/government agencies.
• Expertise in air freight, ocean freight, and cross-border trucking.
• Knowledge of distribution, inventory planning, and materials management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Customer relationship management skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to stay calm under high‑pressure and fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities

• Guide a team of coordinator associates to provide administrative support to the Operations team.
• Handle order processing and prepare and maintain reports and files for all operations records, correspondence, plans, and expenses.
• Assist in the coordination and preparation of all necessary documentation for the movement of cargo.
• Perform tracking and tracing functions and assist in daily warehouse and administrative activities and communications.
• Liaise closely with external parties to ensure shipments are expedited smoothly.
• Correspond and liaise with customers and attend to their enquiries.
• Handle any other ad-hoc or administrative duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehousing and logistics, with at least 3 years of experience in shipping or trade and compliance.
• Diploma or above in Logistics Management or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of trade and compliance, including experience working with customs or government agencies.
• Expertise in managing air freight, ocean freight, and cross-border trucking, including specialized cargo handling such as Dangerous Goods (DG).
• Good working knowledge of logistics operational areas such as distribution, manufacturing, inventory planning, and materials management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Good customer relationship management skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other related applications.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under high‑pressure and fast‑paced environments, especially when handling high‑value orders or tight deadlines.
