Job summary

OCBC Bank in Kuala Lumpur seeks a detail‑oriented professional to review and verify loan documentation, ensuring compliance and timely disbursement. You will coordinate with solicitors, valuers, and internal teams to complete security documents and oversee disbursement processes.

The role requires a minimum 1 year in credit operations, with preference for SME/Corporate lending experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of credit-related operations experience.
• Experience in documentation and disbursement of SME/Commercial lending preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Business Admin, Management, Accounting, Law or related discipline.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify legal documentation to ensure compliance with terms and conditions and timely completion of loan documentation through to facility disbursement.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate preparation and completion of security documentation.
• Ensure facility disbursements comply with policies, regulatory requirements, and turnaround times.
• Perform administrative duties including safekeeping of security documents and support ad hoc assignments.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and verify legal documentation to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions stipulated in the Letter of Offer and Credit Proposal and ensure the timely completion of loan documentation through to facility disbursement.
• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, including solicitors, valuers, Legal, Product, Sales, Business Units, and support teams, to facilitate the preparation and completion of security documentation.
• Ensure facility disbursements are carried out in accordance with the Bank's policies, regulatory requirements, and prescribed turnaround times, with all Conditions Precedent duly fulfilled prior to disbursement.
• Perform administrative duties, including the safekeeping and maintenance of security documents, and support ad hoc assignments, projects, and other related matters as required.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in credit-related operations, preferably in loan documentation.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in the documentation and disbursement of SME/Commercial/Corporate lending facilities will be given priority.
• Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Performance-driven with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and service excellence.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with a positive attitude and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
