Qualifications

• Education: Degree, Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical, Petroleum, Drilling or another relevant Engineering discipline.
• Experience: Minimum five (5) years' directly relevant experience in liner hanger equipment and services, regardless of the accepted Engineering qualification pathway.
• Language: Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical liner hangers, running/setting tools, liner-top packers, tieback systems, polished-bore receptacles, cementing interfaces, downhole load calculations, torque and drag, hydraulics, equipment QA/QC and well barriers.

Responsibilities

• Review Well Data and System Design including casing/liner programs, hole sizes, liner length/weight, trajectory and formation constraints.
• Select appropriate hydraulic or mechanical liner hanger, running/setting tool, liner-top packer and accessories.
• Prepare equipment lists, running procedures, and contingency actions.
• Coordinate setting, cementing, release and pack-off activities; monitor parameters during operation.
• Lead readiness reviews with client, drilling contractor and service providers.
• Ensure documentation is complete, traceable and compliant with project standards.
• Conduct post-job reviews and contribute to lessons learned and procedure improvements.
