Job summary

TKR Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an Engineering Manager to plan, coordinate and control engineering, construction and installation activities for Oil & Gas projects in Sabah, Malaysia. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage interfaces with contractors and clients, and ensure safety, quality, cost and schedule targets are met.

The role requires strong planning, site execution oversight, and a hands-on approach to constructability, commissioning readiness and project closeout.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma/ Degree/ Master/PhD in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum or related engineering discipline.
• Experience: Minimum seven years in Oil & Gas, with at least two years in construction/installation/engineering management.
• Language: English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency.
• Technical knowledge: broad multidisciplinary engineering, construction planning, fabrication, installation, commissioning interfaces, QA/QC, HSE, and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and control engineering, construction and installation activities for Oil & Gas projects.
• Lead interfaces across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and installation engineering.
• Develop construction execution plans, schedules and resource forecasts.
• Direct site mobilization, fabrication, installation and mechanical completion activities.
• Coordinate offshore and onshore installation, SIMOPS, logistics and priorities.
• Monitor progress, cost, and variations; report progress and risks to management.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, procedures, inspections, and client specifications.
• Lead and participate in safety- and quality-related reviews and approvals.
• Closeout activities: handover dossiers, as-built records, and commissioning readiness.
