Job summary

Premium Sound Solutions Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Line Leader to oversee daily production, manage headcount, monitor performance, and maintain quality. You will track attendance, drive improvements, and ensure 5S and safety standards are upheld across the line.

The role requires coordinating with supervisors and operators, conducting meetings, and driving timely escalations for out-of-control situations. Exposure to KPI boards and QRQC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan headcount for next day and week according to production plan.
• Track attendance and report to supervisor. Seek solution and decision from Supervisor in case of shortage of manpower.
• Prepare and dispatch PPE and necessary forms according to shift start guideline.
• Communicate and conduct the meeting with operators in your line.
• Monitor employee discipline and attitude when working in process.
• Plan polyvalence training, qualification, and requalification together with Production Trainer.
• Conduct periodical performance appraisal.
• Production performance management, KPI board updates: Ensure shift start and shift close checking are properly done.
• Periodically process parameters checking and keep records updated.
• Periodically production performance especially Quality, Scrap and Output efficiency monitoring.
• Drive QRQC or KATA action effectiveness and efficiency.
• Layered process audit especially standardized work audit.
• Quick escalation and reaction in case performance out of control and problem unable to settle in time.
• Product audits submit and follow up.
• Shift close reporting.
• Negative stock monitoring and control.
• Scrap posting and handover.
• WIP control.
• Maintain 5S and Safety.
