Job summary

Premium Sound Solutions Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced HSE Manager to oversee compliance with DOSH, ISO 14001/45001, and other audits. You will lead risk assessments, incident investigations, training, and continuous safety improvements.

The role requires a DOSH-registered SHO, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage environmental programs and facility safety across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, OSH, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years HSE experience with at least 3 years as DOSH SHO.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian OSH and environmental regulations.
• Experience in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and RBA audits.

Job description

Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE legislation, regulations, and company policies.

Lead HSE programs, risk assessments, workplace inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation.

Manage ISO 14001, ISO 45001, TISAX, RBA, and other compliance audits and certification activities.

Oversee environmental programs, including scheduled waste, sewage, and general waste management.

Manage plant security, contractor safety compliance, and Building Facilities Management (BFM) activities.

Liaise with regulatory authorities, including DOSH/JKKP, DOE, BOMBA, PDRM, and local councils on HSE-related matters.

Develop and conduct HSE training, awareness programs, and safety campaigns to promote a strong safety culture.

Maintain HSE records, reports, permits, and documentation, and ensure compliance with Malaysian legal requirements.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety, environmental performance, and operational compliance.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. Diploma/Certificate holders with relevant experience may also be considered.

Minimum 5 years of HSE experience, including at least 3 years as a DOSH-registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO).

Strong knowledge of Malaysian OSH, environmental regulations, and legal compliance requirements.

Experience in leading and maintaining ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and RBA audit systems.

Competent Person certification for Scheduled Waste Management and Sewage Management Systems is preferred.

Manufacturing industry experience and Train-the-Trainer (TTT) certification are added advantages.

Good communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
