Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognised institution and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor to the High Court of Malaya.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in corporate, commercial, or litigation practice.
• Experience in real estate/property development or manufacturing sectors is advantageous.

LEGAL EXECUTIVE (Based in HQ, Shah Alam)

We are seeking a sharp, commercially astute Legal Executive with a proactive learning mindset and strong analytical capabilities. In this role, you will act as a pragmatic business partner, translating complex regulatory frameworks and legal risks into actionable, commercially viable solutions to support the Group’s business operations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Commercial Legal Advisory: Deliver sound, practical, and timely legal advice to operational teams and management across local and overseas entities, balancing legal safeguards with commercial objectives.

Contract Management & Drafting: Draft, review, negotiate, and finalise a diverse range of commercial agreements, corporate documentation, and formal correspondence to safeguard company interests.

Corporate Governance & Compliance: Assist in the periodic drafting, updating, and implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal compliance controls to maintain high governance standards.

Stakeholder Management & Ambiguity: Navigate business ambiguity with composure, effectively communicating legal implications and risk mitigations to cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.

Legal Research & Knowledge Development: Monitor regional regulatory developments, conduct in-depth legal research, provide concise executive briefings to leadership, and facilitate legal training workshops across relevant business units.

External Counsel & Regulatory Liaison: Liaise effectively with external counsel, regulatory authorities, government agencies, and statutory bodies; assist in managing dispute resolution, tribunals, and court-related proceedings where required.

Special Projects: Manage ad-hoc legal assignments, corporate exercises, and cross-departmental initiatives as business needs evolve.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile:

Education & Credentials: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognised institution and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor to the High Court of Malaya.

Professional Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in corporate, commercial, or litigation practice (a blend of reputable law firm training and in-house exposure is advantageous).

Industry Experience: Direct exposure to the real estate/property development or manufacturing sectors will be an added advantage.

Analytical Thinking & Business Acumen: Exceptional ability to deconstruct complex, multi-layered legal issues into clear, concise solutions with a sharp instinct for practical business application.

Learning Agility & Adaptability: High curiosity, resilience, and a proactive attitude toward mastering unfamiliar industries, cross-border jurisdictions, and emerging regulatory areas.

Execution & Timeliness: Proven track record of managing tight deadlines, multi-tasking under pressure, and delivering structured summary reports and executive updates to leadership.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Articulate written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to influence diverse internal and external stakeholders across different seniority levels.
