Job summary

Scientex Berhad is seeking a commercially astute Legal Executive based in Shah Alam. You will translate regulatory frameworks into actionable business solutions, supporting corporate operations with practical legal guidance.

The role covers advisory, contract drafting, governance, risk communication, and liaison with external counsel, regulators, and leadership in a dynamic manufacturing and property environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognised institution and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor to the High Court of Malaya.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in corporate, commercial, or litigation practice.
• Experience in real estate/property development or manufacturing sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial legal advisory to operational teams and management across entities.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalise commercial agreements and corporate documents.
• Support corporate governance, SOPs, and internal compliance controls.
• Communicate legal implications and risk mitigations to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Conduct legal research and prepare executive briefings for leadership.
• Liaise with external counsel and regulatory bodies; assist in disputes where needed.
• Handle ad-hoc legal assignments and cross-departmental initiatives.
