Job summary

AIKBEE TIMBERS SDN BHD is seeking an enthusiastic Leasing Executive to assist in planning and implementing leasing activities for our retail mall.

You will identify suitable tenants, initiate discussions, negotiate leases, and ensure terms are followed. You will monitor tenancy documents, liaise with Legal, and help keep tenancy records up to date.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in leasing/marketing or related field.
• 1–2 years of retail mall leasing experience.
• Fresh graduates welcome.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Able to work under tight deadlines and be disciplined.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proactive and team player.
• Good written and spoken English; multilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing leasing activities.

• Maintain tenancy records and liaise with Legal on tenancy agreements.
• Manage rental, utilities collection and tenancy renewals.
• Maintain rapport with new and existing tenants.

Job description

Assist in planning and implementing leasing activities.

Identify suitable tenants and initiate discussion with potential tenants.

Negotiate the lease, finalize rental and other terms and conditions

Ensure all the tenants follow the lease term

Conduct market research to keeping up with market trends

Follow up through execution to the opening of store

Resolve any tenants' concerns and issues immediately

Prepare, update and maintain all leasing documentations

Ensure that tenants are consistent with the retail plan and the positioning of the shopping mall

Monitor all new and existing tenancy document activities are always up-to-date and completed on time

Prepare and maintain tenancy agreements, management reports as well as documents with regards to lease transaction

Liaise with Legal department on Tenancy Agreements

Manage tenancy related matters such as rental, utilities collection and tenancy renewals

Maintain a good rapport with new and existing tenants

Job requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Leasing/Marketing/Estate Management/Property Management/ Retail/Business Administration or related disciplines.
• Minimum 1-2 years working experience in retail mall leasing.
• Fresh Graduate is welcome to apply.
• Well known in Microsoft office excel, word & power point.
• Able to work under tight deadlines, resourceful and discipline.
• Candidate shall be proactive, positively motivated, a good team player, have strong problem-solving skills and good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good written and spoken in English. Able to communicate in multi-languages will be an added advantage.
