Talent Recruit is representing a retailer-focused property group seeking a proactive Leasing Assistant Manager based in Kepong. You will manage tenant relations, coordinate with operations, and support the Leasing Manager to secure occupancy across shopping properties.

Responsibilities include maintaining tenant databases, processing sales submissions, coordinating work orders, and ensuring compliance with mall rules.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in Shopping Centre Management, Leasing or Tenant Coordination.
• Certificate or Advanced Diploma in Real Estate, Marketing, Business or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to handle difficult situations.
• Sound knowledge of the retail market.
• Experience in tenancy/lease operations is advantageous.

• Collaborate with other departments for tenancy and leasing operations improvement.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with stakeholders to retain tenants and attract prospects.
• Coordinate with Tenant Admin for signatory status and document circulation.

Job Description:

• Manage day-to-day relationship with the partners and tenants includes operational issues.
• Support the organization within every area of Tenant Management including assist and support Leasing Manager to attend leasing-related activities to secure and monitor occupancy of the company's properties.
• Maintaining and sustaining the mall operations from time to time.
• Responsible for Tenants sales submission (average 95%) and system update.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive / updated Tenants Relations Management database and filing system for all tenants (ie. Sales information, licenses, permits, insurances, agreements and other correspondences).
• Coordinate, prepare and distribute work orders to relevant department(s).
• Report, monitor and follow-up with relevant department on tenants complaints and resolution.
• Support Operations in the event that tenant is not adhering to malls House Rules, Agreement and other required manuals in the way of recommending approach towards tenants.
• Collaborate with other departments for improvement of tenants performance as well as tenancy and leasing operations.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders to retain existing tenants and attract prospects for occupancy growth
• Coordination with Tenant Admin (SO), i.e. tracking of signatory status and sending of documents.
• Obtaining approval for closure applications, i.e. Festival closure, early closure for co. event, etc.
• Mailbox key coordination new handover, replacement of key or lock.
• Preparing required information prior to Tenants meeting.

Qualifications:

• Certificate or Advance/ Diploma in Real Estate, Marketing, Business or ither related fields
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in Shopping Centre Management / Leasing / Tenant Coordination.
• Candidate specializing in property/real estate or equivalent will be an added advantage
• Strong analytical skills and ability to handle difficult situations
• Sound knowledge of retail market
• Knowledge of strata will be an added advantage
• Team player, meticulous and customer oriented with good management, organizational and interpersonal skills
