Job summary

Giraffe Coffee Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a skilled Cake Baker/Pastry Chef to prepare ingredients, bake and decorate cakes, and maintain high quality standards. This role supports design and refinement of cake recipes and ensures finished products meet safety and quality controls.

You will manage inventory records, enforce sanitation rules, and may supervise and train staff. A five-day work week is expected with staff meal benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous notable work experience as a Cake Baker/Pastry Chef.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations and quality inspections.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing ingredients, handling cake baking and other kitchen equipment.
• Designing and improving cake recipes to maintain high industry standards.
• Decorating and displaying finished products.
• Testing ingredients and finished goods for safety and quality controls.
• Keeping records relating to inventory and production levels.
• Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
• Supervising and training staff when needed.
