Job summary

Giraffe Coffee Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a skilled Cake Baker/Pastry Chef to prepare ingredients, bake and decorate cakes, and maintain high quality standards. This role supports design and refinement of cake recipes and ensures finished products meet safety and quality controls.

You will manage inventory records, enforce sanitation rules, and may supervise and train staff. A five-day work week is expected with staff meal benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous notable work experience as a Cake Baker/Pastry Chef.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations and quality inspections.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Requirements:

Previous notable work experience as a Cake Baker/Pastry Chef.

Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills.

Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products.

Knowledge of sanitation regulations

Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.

Certificate in culinary arts, cake baking, or relevant field is a plus.

Culinary school degree/diploma is a plus.
