Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Pastry Arts, Baking or Culinary Arts preferred.
• At least 4–6 years of relevant pastry experience, including experience guiding a team.
• Strong skills in cake preparation, pastry making, dessert production and decorating.
• Experience in a central kitchen or food manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Able to manage production schedules and maintain consistent quality for bulk orders.

Responsabilités

• Prepare cakes, pastries, desserts and fillings according to approved recipes and product specifications
• Plan and oversee daily pastry production to meet order quantities and delivery schedules
• Allocate tasks and guide the pastry team to maintain productivity and consistent quality
• Monitor product taste, texture, portion size and finishing before release
• Train junior staff in pastry preparation, decorating techniques and equipment handling
• Monitor ingredient usage and stock availability; coordinate replenishment with Procurement
• Control wastage and maintain proper storage, labelling and stock rotation
• Maintain production, batch, wastage and cleaning records
• Ensure compliance with company food safety, hygiene, GMP and Halal procedures
• Coordinate with QA to investigate and resolve product quality issues
