The ideal candidate will have extensive senior kitchen experience, strong culinary skills, and familiarity with local health regulations, with a passion for high-volume, multicultural dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience as a Chef or in a senior kitchen position.
• Advanced culinary skills with knowledge of cooking techniques, prep and presentation.
• Experience in fine dining or high-standard professional kitchens.
• Understanding of local Malaysia food safety and health standards.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in high-volume or multicultural kitchens advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and cook high-quality dishes per recipes and standards.
• Manage kitchen operations, including prep, cooking, and plating.
• Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff.
• Monitor stock and manage inventory to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with management to develop menus and seasonal specials.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and kitchen is clean.
• Control food costs and contribute to profitability.
