Job summary

Amalan Setar (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Inspector of Works to monitor quality, workmanship and progress across development projects including landed residential and high-rise sites. The role involves supervising daily activities, verifying drawings and progress, and ensuring compliance with specifications and QC standards.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma or Polytechnic certificate in engineering-related field and at least 5 years of experience in similar projects, with

Qualifications

Min 5 years of working experience in construction of landed property and infra works.
Familiarity with construction methodology would be an advantage.
Must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Civil) or a Certificate from Polytechnics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily construction activities and ensure all works and materials meet specifications and standards.
Prepare and update daily reports; verify progress reports.
Monitor and control construction progress; check drawings, specs and method statements.
Perform QC in accordance with policies and ensure high quality of work.
Attend inspections and testing by contractor and document reports; issue NCRs for non-conformities.
Identify drawing discrepancies and highlight to the consultant; attend site meetings.
