Job summary

DHI in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, invites an experienced Team Lead, General Ledger Accountant to oversee GL operations for our Asia-Pacific region. You will lead a team of accounting professionals, ensure accurate monthly close, statutory compliance, and alignment with IFRS/GAAP while supporting global finance transformation and process standardization across the DHI Group.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, etc.), strong Excel, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee General Ledger operations and month-end close.
• Lead and develop the GL team for accurate reporting and controls.
• Coordinate audit deliverables with internal/external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with VAT/GST and statutory requirements.
