Job summary

BD in Kuala Lumpur seeks a senior accounting leader to oversee GL and reporting across regional operations. You will drive governance, closes, and balance sheet integrity while aligning with US GAAP and internal controls.

You will also supervise a regional General Accounting and Reporting team, standardize processes across ERP platforms, and partner with global stakeholders to ensure audit-ready financials and timely insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 8–10 years in accounting with supervisory experience a plus.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS concepts.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership of the general ledger across ERP environments and regions.
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and adjustments.
• Ensure GAO outputs comply with policy, standards, and controls.
• Lead balance sheet reconciliations and timely issue resolution.
• Govern prepayments, accruals, and amortization schedules.
• Drive US GAAP reporting, regulatory packages, and dashboards.
