Job summary

BD is a global medical technology company seeking a Senior General Ledger & Accounting Governance leader in Kuala Lumpur. You will oversee the general ledger across multiple ERP systems, ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS, and drive governance, balance sheet integrity, and reporting across regions.

The role requires managing accruals, prepayments, and journal entries, with a focus on standardization and cross-functional collaboration within a multinational finance organization.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting required.
• 8–10 years of accounting experience.
• Supervisory experience in regional/global Shared Service environment preferred.
• Strong US GAAP and IFRS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership of the general ledger across multiple ERP environments and regions.
• Govern reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Oversee accruals, prepayments, and related adjustments with governance.
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for close and consolidation.
