Job summary

Private Advertiser in Penang seeks a seasoned M&E/fit-out coordinator to manage landlord provisions for unit renovations, coordinating with the interior designer and main contractors.

You will source quotations from registered contractors, ensure compliance with drawings, safety guidelines and timelines, and prepare weekly reports.

The role requires at least 5 years in the industry, a Diploma in Architecture/Interior Design, AutoCAD knowledge, and Mandarin fluency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related industry experience.
• Diploma in Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software.
• Mandarin fluency preferred for tenant communications.
• Independent, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E provisions and landlord requirements for each unit.
• Source quotations from registered contractors for landlord provisions.
• Ensure landlord provisions meet standards by target dates.
• Process Purchase Requests through approvals before admin submission.
• Liaise with interior designers and main contractors on renovation needs.
• Review and respond to M&E drawings within 2 working days.
• Conduct fit-out briefings for tenants and contractors.
• Perform daily site inspections and compile weekly reports.
• Monitor fit-out activities for compliance with drawings and safety guidelines.
• Escalate non-compliances and delays to authorities for remedial action.
• Organize follow-up inspections to close non-compliances.
