Job summary

PERSOL Malaysia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead interior fit-out projects for F&B and commercial spaces. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, coordinate a team of six Site Supervisors, and ensure quality, safety, and on-time handover across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, superb communication, and hands-on project management skills, with a track record in design-and-build or renovation environments, and a solid grasp of schedules, budgets,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B interior fit-out projects.
• Proven experience in project management within interior design & build, commercial fit-out, or renovation.
• Experience leading and coordinating site teams or multiple Site Supervisors.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, site coordination, subcontractor management, and project cost monitoring.
• Experience handling project variations, claims, and handover processes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee F&B and commercial interior fit-out projects from commencement through completion and handover.
• Lead and coordinate a team of 6 Site Supervisors to ensure effective site execution.
• Develop project schedules, work programmes, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, QS, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, progress claims, and subcontractor claims.
• Conduct site visits and progress meetings to monitor quality and address delays.
• Ensure site works comply with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate rectification works, project completion, and handover to clients.
