Job summary
Hitachi Energy Malaysia is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver high-quality field services and act as a trusted technical advisor to customers. You will build strong customer relationships, understand operational challenges, and recommend value-adding solutions across utilities, power generation, data centers, and industrial sectors while traveling extensively.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years in field service, commissioning, maintenance, testing, or power systems engineering.
- Experience with transformers, switchgear, substations, protection systems, high-voltage equipment, or related technologies.
Responsibilities
- Execute field service activities: installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and modernization.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers to minimize downtime.
- Lead or support site activities and supervise subcontractors as needed.
- Prepare technical reports, root-cause analysis, and service recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for service, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
