Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Associate Director, Research to lead data centre market analysis across APAC and Malaysia. You will track activity, coordinate with global teams, and deliver insights to clients and internal stakeholders.

The role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience, strong data analytics, writing and speaking skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, business, finance, economics or systems management.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience in data centres, IT or telecommunications.
• Experience in market research is a plus.
• Strong data analysis and statistical skills.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyse data centre activity in APAC and KL, identify trends and opportunities.
• Collect and analyse data and publications on the global data centre sector.
• Prepare findings for internal/external audiences via publications, presentations and webinars.
• Answer data queries from APAC region and act as source of truth for insights.
• Collaborate to develop research proposals to support business development.
• Coordinate with global research team on biannual and annual reports.
• Communicate with stakeholders including regular meetings with the DCG and others.
• Execute bespoke advisory mandates including demand estimations, pricing strategies and feasibility.
