Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a seasoned Data Center Market & Solutions Lead in Malaysia. You will perform in-depth market research, maintain expertise in Prysmian’s data center portfolio, and track industry standards.

This role collaborates with sales and the technical team to pursue opportunities, engage stakeholders, and present market insights. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in engineering with marketing exposure, strong English, and a background in structured cabling and data center

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with marketing knowledge related field.
At least 8 years of work experience in related industry or large system integrator.
Proficient knowledge in cabling solutions (Structured Cabling, BMS, Security, Fire Safety).
Experience in managing vendors, end users, and driving brand with consultants, distributors, partners, trainings, and events.
Good command of English; data center solutions knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities in data center market.
Develop knowledge of Prysmian’s data center solutions portfolio (cables, connectivity, technologies).
Monitor industry standards, regulations and best practices for data center infra.
Formulate a strategic growth plan for data center segment aligned with Prysmian goals.
Collaborate with sales to build relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and partners.
Represent Prysmian at conferences and industry events to generate opportunities.
Deliver presentations and market insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Support site visits, technical assessments, and solution evaluations with the technical team.
