Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad is seeking a construction supervisor to oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and budgets. You will coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to meet project goals and regulatory requirements.

The role demands hands-on supervision of crews, site inspections for safety and quality, and proactive issue resolution to keep milestones on track.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience working in a construction supervisory role, with a demonstrated track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget (at least 2 years)
• Solid understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials, including knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, to establish project goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement project schedules, work plans, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure that project milestones are met.
• Supervise and direct construction crews and subcontractors, including scheduling work assignments, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support as needed.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during the course of construction and implement corrective actions as necessary.
