Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad is seeking a Construction Supervisor to manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and budgets. You will coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and regulators, develop schedules and budgets, and supervise crews while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent and at least two years in a supervision role, with knowledge of building codes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in construction supervisory role.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work complies with the Project Management Manual, Quality Management Plan, Safety Management Plan and environmental procedures.
• Manage all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion within time and budget constraints.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulators to set goals and objectives.
• Develop schedules, work plans and budgets; monitor progress to meet milestones.
• Supervise and direct crews and subcontractors; schedule work and provide guidance.
• Conduct regular site inspections for safety, quality and specs compliance.
• Address issues during construction and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain records and documents per procedures.
• Participate in On Site Coordination meetings with Head of Section and subcontractors.
• Conduct inspections and testing per ITPs and Safe Work Method Statements; record results.
• Generate NOD and Bill of Quantities for client submission.
• Monitor site safety plan implementation and rectify breaches.
• Update work order information in Edgenta PROPEL CMMS and PLUS ROSS system.
