Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction and property development projects in Sabah, from pre-construction through handover, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and quality.

You will coordinate consultants, contractors, and authorities, manage the programme and budget, review plans and specs, and drive risk mitigation while maintaining compliance and reporting to management.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying is required.
• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant construction, property development, or project management experience.
• Proven track record delivering construction projects from inception to handover.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, cost control, quality management, and statutory requirements.
• Proven ability to coordinate consultants, contractors, authorities and multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from planning through handover.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, suppliers, authorities and stakeholders.
• Monitor programme, budget, cost, quality, and performance to targets.
• Review plans, drawings, specs, contracts, and construction methodologies.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, requirements and safety standards.
• Facilitate planning approvals, submissions, inspections and certifications.
• Conduct regular site and project meetings and follow up actions.
• Monitor progress, resources and performance to ensure compliance and timely delivery.
• Prepare and provide regular progress, cost, and programme reports to management.
