Kimpton in Malaysia seeks a hotel beverage professional to manage beverage costs, inventories, and service quality across restaurant and poolside operations. You will work with stewards and engineers to ensure equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and par stock levels while delivering guests an exceptional beverage experience.

Knowledge of cocktails, glassware, and presentation is essential, as is ability to respond to guest needs, maintain standards, and support POS operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel beverage operations preferred.
• Knowledge of beverage products, cocktails, glassware and presentation.

Responsabilités

• Maintain beverage costs at levels established by the restaurant and department.
• Interact closely with stewards and engineers for proper cleanliness and maintenance of all operating equipment and beverage related machinery.
• Maintain par stocks and inventory of beverage supplies and bar equipment.
• Provide counter service to guests following established quality standards.
• Assist in serving beverage orders at restaurant and poolside.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing needs and complaints within authority.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of bar counters and work areas; uphold high uniform and personal grooming standards.
• Operate POS and ensure cash is balanced at shift end; support promotions and cocktails creatively.
• Comply with HACCP standards and resort/department policies; participate in daily briefing and training.
• Know Forbes Travel Guide Standards for restaurant & bars and strive to meet them as a minimum.
