Job summary
UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Finance Application Support specialist to provide backend and business-user support for banking applications onsite. You will handle incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with development teams to ensure smooth production releases.
The role requires a degree in CS/Engineering and at least 5 years in application development and support within Banking/Finance, with strong Unix/Windows, batch scheduling,
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science/engineering or related disciplines.
- Min 5 years of experience in application development and support in Banking/Finance.
- Experience with Unix/Windows, batch scheduling, databases, BI tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide application support to various business users.
- Attend to business queries and business requests promptly.
- Follow through the business requests to a proper closure.
- Work on timely resolution for reported incidents to meet service level targets.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify permanent solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure all incidents and problems are proactively managed and escalated as needed.
- Collaborate with the development team in identifying resolutions and transitioning releases into production.
- Participate in DR/BCM activities and infrastructure upgrades.
- Monitor and analyze capacity data to forecast required capacity.
