Job summary

6255 UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd invites you to join as an application support specialist for banking systems. You will promptly attend to business queries, resolve incidents to meet SLAs, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers to transition releases to production.

You should have a degree in computer science or engineering, at least 5 years in banking application development and support, strong Unix/Windows, SQL queries, and BI tool experience; familiarity with ITIL,

Qualifications

Degree in computer science/engineering or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in application development and support in Banking/Finance.
Experience with Unix/Windows platforms, batch scheduling tools, database queries, and BI tools.

Responsibilities

Provide application support to business users and respond to queries and requests.
Resolve incidents to meet service level targets; conduct root cause analysis.
Collaborate with development to transition releases into production and support DR/BCM activities.
Monitor capacity and performance data and forecast future requirements.
Undertake management reporting and other project initiatives as needed.
