Job summary

Portlogics Global Malaysia Sdn Bhd, part of a Korea-headquartered global logistics company, is expanding its presence in Malaysia with a new branch in Kolombong, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. We are seeking an experienced Freight Procurement/Operations professional to join our Kota Kinabalu team; candidates must reside in Kota Kinabalu or relocate.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics or equivalent.
• 3-5 years in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and vendors.
• Good multitasking and ability to handle competing priorities.
• Knowledge of export/import documentation, logistics processes and incoterms.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day progress of assigned tasks with daily updates and reporting.
• Handle customer inquiries, orders, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Negotiate freight procurement and pricing with liners, agents and overseas partners.
• Process export/import documentation and coordinate freight movements.
• Prepare and verify invoices and vendor billing; open new jobs in the system.
• Coordinate transportation, forwarding and haulage; liaise with internal and external teams.
