Job summary

SPX Express (Kota Kinabalu, Sabah) is seeking a Logistic Supervisor - Linehaul to plan and coordinate inbound/outbound linehaul, manage drivers, and optimize schedules. The role requires leadership to brief and train the ground team and ensure SOP compliance while achieving SLA targets.

The candidate should have 1-2 years in linehaul or logistics, a diploma/degree, and strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills to handle peak volumes and contingencies in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Qualifications

• Legally allowed to work in Sabah based on state requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma preferred.
• 1-2 years of working experience in linehaul or logistic transportation.
• Experience in transport, supply chain and logistics management.
• Effective organizational, planning and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate inbound (transfer from other sortation facilities and outbound of parcels) and linehaul vehicles, and optimize truck capacity and route planning to meet KPI targets.
• Manage, brief and train ground team to ensure operation execution follows SOP.
• Execute linehaul plans according to schedules and maximize capacity to meet SLA.
• Manage all vendor drivers and in-source drivers according to KPI.
• Develop ad-hoc plans to support peak volume, such as pay days or campaigns.
• Investigate linehaul delays or accidents and develop contingency plans for on-time load delivery.
• Lead bay coordinator to monitor truck loading efficiency and compliance.
• Coordinate with sortation facilities to ensure sufficient manpower for linehaul loading.
• Understand sorting process for better linehaul schedule planning.
