Job summary

MR D.I.Y. is seeking an experienced Retail Area Manager to drive sales and profitability across all stores in the assigned area, including Kuala Lumpur. You will monitor performance, visit stores, ensure compliance, manage inventory, and lead store managers to deliver results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years of retail management experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and profitability in all stores within the assigned area.
• Monitor store performance and conduct regular store visits to ensure that all stores are meeting or exceeding sales and profit targets.
• Ensure that all stores are operating within company policies and procedures and are in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that stores have sufficient stock levels to meet customer demand.
• Hire, train, and manage the performance of store managers and staff within the assigned area.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to store managers and staff to improve performance and address any issues.
• Identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the assigned area and work with senior management to develop and implement plans to capitalize on these opportunities.
• Ensure that all stores maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and resolving any customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with other departments within the company, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure that all stores are aligned with company goals and objectives.
