Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with daily food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Prepare ingredients, wash, cut and portion food according to kitchen requirements.
• Assist with food plating and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Wash dishes, kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Ensure proper food storage and follow food safety procedures.
• Assist with stock arrangement and kitchen inventory when required.
• Serve food and beverages to customers at their tables.
• Communicate politely and professionally with customers.
• Assist customers with basic menu enquiries.
• Ensure food is delivered to the correct tables and served properly.
• Clear tables and maintain dining area cleanliness.
• Assist the service team during busy operating hours.
• Ensure customers receive friendly and attentive service.
• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
• Follow the restaurant’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
