Job summary

YI NAN WANG SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support the Head Chef with food preparation, packing and stocking. You will help monitor inventory inflow and outflow and ensure proper storage and hygiene in all food areas.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior kitchen experience is an advantage. The role requires a friendly attitude, willingness to work shifts including weekends and public holidays, and the ability to handle non-halal materials when required.

• Assist Manager in monitoring inflow and outflow of inventory.
• Ensure all stock is properly stored and maintained in good condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Assist customers by answering basic product-related queries.
• Ad-hoc Tasks: Manage waste bins and general housekeeping duties; assist with moving, lifting and carrying goods as required for daily operations.
