Job summary

Ducku Ramen Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Kitchen Crew member in Kuala Lumpur to assist with ingredient preparation, cooking signature menu items, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.

You will work closely with teammates to deliver a fast, high-quality dining experience while following Halal SOPs and food safety standards. Previous F&B or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required as training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in F&B or kitchen is an advantage but not required; training will be provided.
• Passion for food and delivering great customer experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients (vegetables, meats, sauces) and other kitchen essentials.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
• Operate grills/fryers/specific equipment safely and maintain cleanliness.
• Cook and prepare food to high quality and safety standards.
• Follow Halal SOPs and hygiene standards; manage stock and rotate ingredients (FIFO).

Job description

As a Kitchen Crew at Ducku Ramen, you'll play an important role in delivering the quality and speed our customers love. You'll prepare fresh ingredients, cook our signature menu items, maintain a clean and organised kitchen, and work closely with your teammates to deliver an outstanding dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients including vegetables, meats, sauces, and other kitchen essentials
• Ensure every order is prepared accurately, consistently, and efficiently
• Operate grills, fryers, meat shavers, and other kitchen equipment safely
• Cook and prepare food to the highest quality and food safety standards
• Maintain speed and accuracy during busy service periods
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times
• Adhere to internal Halal SOPs, including proper ingredient handling and utensil segregation
• Keep all preparation areas, kitchen equipment, and workstations clean and sanitised
• Assist with receiving deliveries and organising stock
• Practice proper stock rotation (FIFO) and ensure ingredients are stored at the correct temperatures

About you

• Previous F&B or kitchen experience is an advantage, but not required—training will be provided
• Passionate about food and delivering great customer experiences
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and carrying kitchen supplies when required
• Possess (or be willing to obtain) a Typhoid Vaccination
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, cleanliness, and grooming
• Responsible, punctual, and a strong team player
