Job summary

The Wet World Sdn. Bhd. in Shah Alam, Selangor is seeking a central kitchen cook to join our team. You will prepare menu items according to standard recipes and ensure quality and consistency in daily production.

Applicants should have knowledge of cooking procedures, the ability to blend ingredients, and experience with a range of kitchen equipment. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is essential. Benefits include medical leave, staff meals and staff discounts.

Responsibilities

• To prepare central kitchen menu items in accordance to the standard recipes and ensuring quantity and quality of the foods are up to standards.
• To work on daily central kitchen ingredients and work stations, eg butchering, vegetable cutting, storage and labeling.
• Maintains established standards of sanitation, safety and food preparation and storage as set by the local and state health departments; maintains an orderly, sanitary, and safe kitchen.
• Able to operate a variety of manual and/or automated kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, toasters, fryers, mixers etc.
• Assures the proper care and maintenance of all food service equipment; identifies equipment needs for food preparation and service and assists in purchasing as needed.
