Job summary

The Wet World Sdn. Bhd. in Johor Bahru is seeking a motivated kitchen operative with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. You will oversee food preparation, follow HACCP rules, and ensure quality, cleanliness and safety in daily operations.

We welcome candidates with a valid F&B background, strong teamwork and a positive attitude, ready to work in a busy environment. Training will be provided, and staff meals and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working in kitchen operation involving preparation, cooking, cleaning & storing.
• Possess food safety rules knowledge.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Good attitude and interpersonal skills.
• Guest oriented, service minded and attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversees food preparation activities by determining work priorities, assigning work and ensuring safe and sanitary conditions are maintained.
• Prepares, seasons, cooks, fries and bakes food according to standard recipes, determining necessary production amounts; revises and/or alters daily menu/recipes if necessary.
• Prepares food items for serving; carves portions of meat, fish and/or fowl for individual servings.
• Measures, weighs and combines ingredients for quantity preparation of meats, vegetables, salads and beverages in accordance with established recipes; modifies recipes and/or production amounts.
• Ensures that the workplace remains clean and tidy and the safety of consumable goods by always respecting HACCP regulations.
• Respects the instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment used.
