Job summary

PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager for Payments & Financial Services to lead strategic client relationships and drive growth across the payments ecosystem.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, prepare commercial proposals, deliver business reviews, and identify opportunities within Consumer Payments, Money Movement, Data & Risk solutions, and related services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance/economics/related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in account management, sales, or payments.
• Experience in banking/fintech/payments preferred.

Responsibilities

Position: Key Account Manager - Payments & Financial Services

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Employment Type: 12 months contract with PERSOL

Salary: RM15,000 – RM19,000 (based on qualifications & experience)

What You’ll Be Doing

Manage and strengthen relationships with key financial institutions and strategic clients

Support account planning, commercial initiatives, and business growth strategies

Identify opportunities across: Consumer Payments, Commercial & Money Movement Solutions, Value-Added Services, Data & Risk Solutions, Loyalty & Marketing Solutions & Payment Acceptance Solutions

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, Marketing, or related disciplines

Minimum 5 years of experience in: account management, sales, business development, consulting, banking, financial services, or payments

Experience within banking, cards, acquiring, issuing, fintech, payment gateway, digital payments, or financial institutions is highly preferred

Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills

Excellent stakeholder management and presentation abilities

Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
