Job summary

DERMALOG BIOMETRICS SDN. BHD. is seeking a hardware technician to provide nationwide technical support and hands-on repair across Malaysia.

You will test, diagnose, and fix equipment, install peripherals, and configure systems for desktops and laptops while collaborating with a team. The role requires at least 2 years of experience, willingness to travel, and the ability to work independently with strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Experience on hardware assembly and troubleshooting as well as building access gate, kiosk, PC, etc
• Know how to install computer hardware peripherals
• Min 2 years’ experience
• Willing to travel
• Possess a valid Driver's License added advantage
• Can immediately report to work
• Can work independently
• Excellent interpersonal skill & a team player
• Good communication in English & Bahasa Malaysia
• Able to work on flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
• Fast learner

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support nationwide across the country in Malaysia
• Test and fix faulty equipment, install, and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware/software faults, and solve technical problems
• Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality
• Setting up device for laptops or desktop PC
• Preparing system and technical relevant reports documentation
• Get involved in real-world project
• Being involved in the technical development of products
• Perform any ad-hoc reasonable assignments request by the managements
