Job summary

Brightstar Computer Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur operates Plaza Low Yat stores and invites applications for a Computer Technician to build, repair and set up PCs and laptops for walk-in customers at the Plaza Low Yat outlet. You will diagnose and repair desktops, laptops and peripherals, assemble and test custom PC builds, install operating systems and drivers, and handle warranty claims.

Fresh graduates with a passion for hardware are welcome; strong problem-solving and customer communication skills

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Hands-on knowledge of PC hardware, troubleshooting and PC assembly.
• Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair desktops, laptops and peripherals.

Computer Technician (PC Build, Repair & Setup)

We are looking for a Computer Technician to build, repair and set up PCs and laptops for walk-in customers at our Plaza Low Yat store.

Job location:

Brightstar Computer outlet, Plaza Low Yat, Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur

Key responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair desktops, laptops and peripherals
• Assemble and test custom PC builds for customers
• Install and configure operating systems, software and drivers
• Handle warranty claims and RMA with suppliers
• Advise customers on upgrades and technical issues

Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related field
• Hands-on knowledge of PC hardware, troubleshooting and PC assembly
• Fresh graduates with strong hardware interest are welcome
• Good problem-solving and customer communication skills
• Patient and service-minded when explaining technical issues to customers
